Love asking Finn and Dot if she is cute

Milo decides to leave things to Love. Love then asks Finn and Dot if they like her and if they think she is cute, wanting them to tell her that she is cute. Dot really likes girls like that, but apologizes and explains that he has a future fiance named Lemon and can't marry Love. Learning that Dot loves someone else more than Love, she stops acting cute and tells him that he can die and uses Tornegus, however Dot manages to block her magic with his Explomb. Love then rants that all girls are born princesses and guy should tell them that they are cute, love them and serve them, however if they can't do that, then they need to die.

Love again asks them if they like her and if she is cute. Dot again repeats himself that he can't marry her, but while doing so, she hits him with her magic, stating that her father told her she can kill anyone who doesn't cherish her. Dot stands up and uses Explomb, creating a smoke screen and attempts to take her wand, however Love notices him and hits him again with her magic. Love tells Dot that he is too weak and can't defeat her. Love then reveals that Milo can turn a specific person to stone, more specifically the person who opened the underground door. It takes effect about two hours after Milo started storing energy. That means they have 30 minutes to defeat her, or Mash will turn into stone. Love then uses Tornegus Cage, trapping Dot inside a tornado, from which she states its impossible to escape.

Inside the tornado, Dot is in pain, but agrees with her that he can't do anything as she outclasses him. Dot recalls his past. He got a new broom, but another kid forces him to exchange it for his old one. Dot's sister then beats the kids and gets Dot's broom back, telling him that he needs to fight back, but doesn't want to, stating that if he do, things will just get worse. His sister is disappointed that he gives up so easily, but tells him that this attitude will be a problem once he gets a real friend, someone who gets sad or angry on his behalf. It rare to find such person, but if he do finds a real friend, he should never betray him. Dot then recalls how he was mocked by Silva and Lauren, and how Mash got angry on his behalf.

Suddenly, a stone head comes out of the ground and attempts to bite Finn. Dot quickly moves and manages, sacrificing himself, but manages to stop the head with his bare hands. Milo then shows up, disappointed in Love that she couldn't handle two single liners. Dot realizes that Milo gave up on his petrification spell to come and face them. Milo then creates multiple large stone hands, preparing to attack Dot and Finn. Dot isn't sure he can take on Milo, while Love believes they are done for, since Milo is a prodigy and the only first year among them. A large sword then comes from behind Finn and Dot and hits Milo, knocking him down and breaking through his magic. Milo is surprised of what happened. He then sees the Divine Visionary, Rayne Ames, and wonders why he is here. As Rayne is still a student, Milo feels he still has a chance and tries distracting him and then creates a giant stone head, but Rayne cuts it with his sword magic. Rayne then creates multiple swords aiming them at Milo and telling him to not waste his time. Seeing it, Milo realizes they are on a completely different level. Rayne then attacks Milo. Seeing it, Love removes her mantle and states she should defect to Adler for now. Milo is beat up, but alive. He tells Rayne that he regrets not standing up against his leader, but he didn't had a choice and asks for forgiveness. Rayne then starts kicking Milo, stating that actions are more important than words and he doesn't trust the words of a scum like him. He finds the pain to be the best way to teach up someone like Milo, to never make the same mistake again. Rayne then asks Dot and the rest why are they still there and tells them to leave, stating he will get details from Milo. Dot wonders why is Rayne there, but is more surprised when he hears Finn saying that he is his brother.

Rayne proceeds with his investigation. Wahlberg believes that Innocent Zero's pawns are there and had send him to look for them. Suddenly, he feels some strange aura, but sees Mash emitting a strange aura, but realizes its not magic. Being short on time, Rayne decides to investigate him quickly and brings out an Arachnabus, a creature that measures true magic power and by its power level, he will know if he is truly a student or not. He attacks Mash with his sword magic, but Mash captures the sword with two fingers and the Arachnabus shows zero magical power, making the Arachnabus unable to believe it and think it was a bug. Rayne then attacks Mash with Three Percent Partisan, but is surprised to see Mash dodging all swords and making a chair out of them. Arachnabus again shows zero. Rayne realizes that Mash isn't using magic and isn't one of Innocent Zero's pawns. However, he decides to run another test and uses Ten Percent Partisan. Arachnabus notes that Rayne doesn't usually use this spell against students and Mash is done for, however it then sees Mash holding a sword preparing to hit the swords like a baseball in a bunting stance, and then bunts all swords. Rayne asks Mash about his name and hearing its Mash, he recalls Wahlberg telling him that they have quite unique student and wanting Rayne to look out for him. Rayne apologizes for his rudeness and offers Mash a magic kerchief, that will heal all of his wounds.

Rayne guesses that Mash is going after Abel. He heard from Wahlberg that he wants to be a Divine Visionary and as Abel is a candidate, he is sure that he would have run up against him. While Mash was able to block Rayne's elementary magic with his bare hands, he will have issues fighting Abel without magic. Abel holds the most gold coins in the academy and if he beats him, he will be able to get much closer to being a Divine Visionary. As the world is full of problems, Rayne wants allies who are strong on their own and tells Mash to become a Divine Visionary, even if it kills him. Rayne then states he has things to do and leaves. Rayne recalls Wahlberg words that Mash is a student who puts his friends before his goals and meeting Mash had saved Finn. Rayne then notes that to become a Divine Visionary without using magic, Mash will need to prove that he is stronger than any magic user.

Mash faces a door, and wonders if he should pull or push. He ends up pushing a bit and the door opens, but as he recalls Lemon's gift, he knocks down the door. Inside, Abel wonders if Mash needs to destroy each door he enters. Mash excuses himself, saying he tried to knock and this happened.
