Mash Burnedead and the Survival of the Fittest is the eleventh episode of the Mashle anime.
Synopsis[]
Even with a win over Love, Dot is battered and bruised. Milo gives up on using petrification magic on Mash and launches an attack on Dot. Suddenly, the Divine Visionary Rayne appears, and Milo collapses in an instant. Rayne was informed by Wahlberg that Innocent Zero's agents were coming to school, and he showed up to respond. Meanwhile, Mash has made his way to the First Fang Abel. Mash reveals his quiet rage. What will be the course of this decisive battle?!
Summary[]
Abel is surprised by Mash and explains that the only student he thought had a chance against Abyss's Evil Eye was Rayne. However as Mash is quite capable, he should understand that not everyone are equal and that Abel doesn't need inferior genes that take advantage of the kindness of the strong. Mash realize he also speaks about those without magic and Abel confirms that he plans on disposing them, since simply separating them from society is too kind. He plans on changing the rules and even dispose of those who defend and shelter them. Mash recalls his young days and how he was raised by Regro. He then tells Abel that his plans are a problem for Mash and they can't be friends. Abel realizes that Mash can't understand him as he is a bit dense and then attacks him.
Mash defeats the acidic dolls
Love returns to Abel, but seeing that he is fighting Mash, she quickly hides. Mash smashes one of the dolls, but almost gets splashed by acid from inside the doll. Mash then grabs the head of the doll and throws it like a bowling ball, smashing all the acidic dolls like a bowling pins. Since Abel spoke of inferior genes, Mash wonders that if he beats him, if that would mean Abel has inferior genes. Mash then asks where is Lemon, but Abel doesn't know who that is and states that he is only getting magical power from the other people. Abel then sends three clown doll, believing that Mash won't be able to handle even one of them, however Mash smashes all three with a single punch. Mash states that since Abel believes that he strong ones can take from the weak, if Mash beats him, he will tell him where Lemon is.
Finn turned into a doll
Abel uses his puppet magic on Mash, controlling his arms and making him punch himself. He forces him to strangle himself, but then stops, stating its too one-sided and it lacks class. Abel then brings Finn, having him captured and turned into a puppet, believing it could be entertaining. He notes that his other friend, Dot, was too badly injured to be used. Abel tell Mash that he isn't allowed to attack and if he do, Abel will just break Finn, however Mash is free to break him himself if he wants to. Mash then stands still as Finn's puppet attacks and beats him. The axe that Finn uses ends up breaking, but Mash still stands up. Mash then takes out the gold coin and tells Abel that he can give it to him if he wants it that much. Mash then shoots the coin, which then cuts Finn's threads and then returns back to Mash. Free of the threads, Finn turns to normal. As the coin is back in Mash, Mash apologizes stating that the coin seems to like him. Annoyed, Abel decides to get serious and uses his puppet magic on Mash. Mash tries to resist the control and move. Abel doesn't believe he can as its not possible for a human. However Mash manages to move and make steps, which ends up breaking Abel's fingers as threads were attached to them to control Mash. Mash then rushes at Abel and kicks him in the face with his knee.
Surprised by this, Abel uses Marioness Change, turning Mash into a doll and congratulating him for forcing Abel to use his spell. Abel reaches into Mash's pocket to take the gold coin, however he sees its a cream puff. Mash then punches him and takes his cream puff, surprised that its no longer in his pocket. Abel is surprised that Mash broke his spell and was able to move while in a puppet form. His magic blocks electric signals from the brain and prevents voluntary movements. Abel the guesses it was a spinal reflex, like when you move away when you feel something hot or your leg moves when the kneecap is tapped. He realizes that Mash moves instinctively, reacting to a threat to protect his cream puff.
Abel using Marioness Secondth Harm Puppet
Abel decides to crush Mash with his strongest magic and activates Marioness Secondth, Harm Puppet, creating a large doll and explains that Harm Puppet turns anything within a 100-meter radius into puppets, and transformation begins the moment the invisible strings touch you. Even though Abel finds Mash weak, he thanks him and wants to show him respect for having forced him to go all out. A moment later, Harm Puppet gets destroyed by Mash. Surprised Abel wonders how he stopped the transformation and Mash states that he tore the strings. Love have seen it all. The moment Abel released the strings, Mash took a strange pose and the moment a string touched him, he quickly turned and snapped the strings before he loses control. Abel is shocked and attacks Mash with what remains of his Harm Puppet, but it all gets smashed. Mash then quickly gets behind Abel and uses Erector Spinae Magic, Hell Fall. Mash grabs Abel and jumps up. In the air he flips him over and smashes him to the ground with his head first.
As he is being defeated, Abel never expected that he would be the "weak" one. He recalls how kind was his mother and how she treated commoners equally. One day however, she was stabbed. While distributing food to the poor like usual, a man tried to hoard all the food for himself and stabbed her as she resisted, stating that being stabbed is a comeuppance for always having it easy. His kind, gentle, but naïve mother was the gone. Abel believes that she is wrong and those that are at the bottom of the society are there for a reason. Abel then gathered other people who disliked the world and started working on his plan. Mash tells him that bad people are bad no matter their social status, but Abel believes that majority of them are at the bottom, which is why the bottom class should be gone. Mash finds that a problem, but asks him where is Lemon, since Abel lost. Abel agrees to release the students he turned into puppets, as he had lost. Mash is relieved that Abel isn't such a bad guy as he did all of his for his mother. Able uses Marioness Liberation and brings out Lemon. Finn wakes up and joins Mash and Lemon and the three celebrate that they are all okay. Lemon apologizes to Mash, stating it was her fault, but is truly thankful for saving her. Dot comes crawling, stating that he worked hard too. They then wonder where is Lance.
Rayne finds the Innocent Zero man
Rayne stops Lance, stating that he doesn't believe to this school. Lance wonders what he means, but in that moment Rayne attacks, however his attack gets countered. Arachnabus shows up and states that its counter is at max. Lance wonders how he found him out and Rayne explains that its faster if he assumes all are guilty until proven innocent. The man then undoes his transformation magic, happy that he did manage to fool him at first and explains that he used the face of a student that goes to this school. Rayne knows that he is a member of the Innocent Zero and wonders what he is doing here. The man explains that he is searching for something that is quite important to them and strangely its in this school right now. They made Abel search for it, but he couldn't find anything. The man then explains that he has no time to waste and needs to go and kill Abel as they are now done with him. Rayne attempts to attack the man, but a large knife gets in his way. Another man then introduces himself as Jon Pierre, and explains that he is serial killer and cannibalist and will be Rayne's opponent. Rayne is worried that Mash and the rest won't be able to handle the Innocent Zero man as he is on a Divine Visionary level.
